Itinerary

Day 1:Hanoi - Tuan Chau Marina - Lan Ha bay - Trung Trang cave - Hanoi
8:30: A luxury van will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the scenic views of the Red River Delta on your way to Ha Long Bay.
11:30: Upon arrival at Lot 32 - Tuan Chau Marina, check-in procedures will be completed at the waiting lounge where you can enjoy special tea as part of a warm welcome.
12:15: You'll transfer to Orchid Cruise via a tender boat. Once aboard, enjoy welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and safety instructions.
13:00: Lunch will be served as we begin our cruise through Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
14:15: Our journey continues with a bus trip to Trung Trang cave on Cat Ba Island, situated in the heart of Cat Ba National Park, surrounded by the Kim Giao forest.
17:00: Orchid Cruises will sail into a quieter area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear green water.
18:00: Join a cooking demonstration and take advantage of the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while enjoying the sunset view over the bay.
19:00: Indulge in a fusion dinner prepared with the freshest ingredients in an elegant setting that combines French neoclassical style with traditional oriental elements.
21:00: Spend the evening admiring the beauty of the bay from the sundeck or the restaurant. You can try your hand at squid fishing, watch a movie, or play chess and cards. Stay overnight on board.
Day 2: Halong Bay - Ao Ech - Tuan Chau Marina - Hanoi
6:30: Start your day with a peaceful tai chi session on the sundeck to immerse yourself in the beauty of the bay. Early risers can catch the dawn by waking up between 5:30 to 6:00, depending on the season, and consult our crew.
7:00: Enjoy breakfast at the restaurant as the cruise continues.
7:45: Embark on a kayaking adventure in the Ao Ech area to explore the hidden charm of Ha Long - Lan Ha Bay.
9:30: Return to Orchid Cruises for check-out procedures.
10:00: Delight in a brunch at the restaurant while cruising back.
11:30: Say farewell as you disembark at Tuan Chau Marina, concluding your cruise with us.
14:30: Arrive back at your drop-off point in Hanoi. Trip ends.

17:00 Orchid Cruises sails to the tranquil Tra Bau area in Lan Ha Bay for a refreshing swim in the emerald waters.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village - Ba Trai Dao Islets
Transfer: Activities: Begin the day with a Tai Chi class, followed by a transfer to Viet Hai village for cycling, swimming, and kayaking at Ba Trai Dao Islets.At 06:30, the day begins early on Orchid Cruises with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Breakfast is then served in the dining room with a morning view of the bay's landscape before we continue our journey.
At 07:00, breakfast will be served at the restaurant as the cruise continues.
By 08:00, guests will be transferred to a day-boat to visit Viet Hai village. A bicycle ride through the village path, rain forests, and dark tunnels will lead to stunning views of rice fields. There will be a stop at the village to relax, visit an ancient local house, and observe local life in the valley.
An optional electric car service is available for an additional cost. After visiting Viet Hai village, guests will return to the day boat to explore Lan Ha Bay and enjoy lunch onboard.
At 14:00, a visit to Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches islets) offers a peaceful setting for kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach.
Returning to Orchid Cruises at 17:00, guests can participate in a cooking class, swim in an untouched area, or enjoy Happy Hour at the bar while watching the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
At 19:30, a Fusion Dinner is served, featuring delicious local cuisine prepared by the onboard catering staff in a romantic setting.
By 21:30, guests can relax on the top deck, enjoy drinks from the bar, try night squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. Overnight accommodation is onboard. Massage services are available upon direct booking with the Cruise Manager.
Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Ao Ech - Hanoi
At 06:30, guests can join a peaceful tai chi session on the sundeck to soak in the beauty of the bay. For those interested in catching the sunrise, waking up between 5:30 to 6:00, depending on the season, is recommended. Consult with our sailors for guidance.
Breakfast will be served at the restaurant at 07:00 while the cruise continues.• 07:45 Participate in kayaking activities in the Ao Ech area to uncover the hidden beauty of Ha Long - Lan Ha Bay.

Day 1: Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi, the vibrant heart of Vietnam blending traditional and modern beauty.
On your arrival day, our driver will be waiting at Noi Bai International Airport with a name board, welcoming you and transferring you to Apricot Hotel for check-in.
You have the rest of the day to discover Hanoi and unwind at the luxurious hotel before your cruise. It's a great opportunity to delve into the rich history and culture of the capital city.Hanoi is a peaceful capital city that beautifully combines traditional charm with modern elements, boasting a rich history and unique architecture blending Eastern and Western influences.
The complex, featuring the Mausoleum, Stilt House, and One Pillar Pagoda, is a must-visit site to delve into Vietnam's history, arts, and architecture. Another highlight is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, offering insights into the country's education and history.
For those interested in ethnic cultures, the Museum of Ethnology showcases vibrant exhibitions and informative displays on various traditions and costumes of different ethnic groups. A visit to these attractions promises a tranquil escape from the bustling city life of Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Hai Phong - Lan Ha bay - Ba Trai Dao islets (Three Peaches islets)
9:45 - 10:00 AM: You'll be picked up from Hanoi Old Quarter to take the highway to Dinh Vu Port, Haiphong, arriving around 11:30. Enjoy special tea and a warm welcome at Orchid Cruise’s lounge.
12:00 PM: Transfer to the ORCHID CRUISE by tender. On the way to the main boat, you'll have the chance to see Cai Trap canal.
12:15 PM: Once on board the ORCHID CRUISE, enjoy a welcome drink, receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions, and check in. Begin your journey to explore Halong Bay, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
12:40 PM: The cruise heads to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have lunch while passing the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan, featuring impressive limestone karst formations. This less-traveled route goes through the Cat Ba Island - Thoi Quyt area - Coc Ngoi islet - to the Ba Trai Dao area.
15:00 PM: Arrive at Ba Trai Dao beach area in Lan Ha Bay, a quiet paradise known for its pristine beaches and stunning beauty with around 400 islands. Unlike the main Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay’s islands are forested and smaller. Enjoy kayaking or swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Ba Trai Dao.
By 5:30 PM, as we return to ORCHID CRUISE, you can witness the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. There's an option to participate in a traditional cooking class on board, where our chef will guide you in preparing some Vietnamese dishes. During early evening, there's a Happy Hour deal on the boat. Additionally, a massage service is available; please arrange directly with the Cruise Manager.
At 7:30 PM, a deluxe dinner is served, featuring delicious local cuisine prepared by our skilled onboard catering team, creating a delightful dining experience in a romantic setting.
By 9:30 PM, you can enjoy the nighttime scenery of the bay from the top deck, relaxing with drinks from the bar. Activities like night squid fishing and watching a movie in the restaurant are available. You will spend the night on board, with the option to book a massage service through the Cruise Manager.
At 11:00 PM, Day One program comes to a close.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Viet Hai village - Ba Ham Lake
6:00 AM: on Orchid Cruise with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. A light breakfast of coffee, tea, and pastries is served in the dining room while enjoying the morning view of the bay's landscape before continuing our journey.
At 8:30 AM, we transfer to a day boat to visit Viet Hai village. You'll embark on a bicycle ride along village paths, passing through rainforests and dark tunnels, and admiring the picturesque scenery of rice fields along the way. Take a break at the village to unwind and explore an ancient local house made from straw, mud, bamboo, offering a glimpse into the valley life of the locals. An optional electric car service is available at an additional cost. Return to the day boat to explore Bai Tu Long Bay, with lunch served on board.
1:30 PM: Explore Bai Tu Long Bay, where you can enjoy kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake, located in a narrow, rectangular area surrounded by vertical cliffs on all sides (weather permitting).
4:00 PM: Return to Orchid Cruise for a traditional cooking class with our chef teaching you how to make Vietnamese dishes. Watch the stunning sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and take advantage of the Happy Hour deal on board.
7:30 PM: Indulge in a deluxe dinner featuring delicious local cuisine prepared by our onboard catering staff for an intimate dining experience.
9:30 PM: Relax on the top deck and admire the bay's nighttime scenery. Enjoy drinks from the bar, try night squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. Overnight stay on board with the option to book a massage service with the Cruise Manager.
11:00 PM: End of Day Three activities.
Day 4: Halong Bay - Dark and Bright Cave - Hai Phong - Hanoi
6:00 AM: Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck to witness the bay at its best, followed by a light breakfast. After breakfast, explore the bay in canoes around the Toi Sang cave area.
9:30 AM: Return to Orchid Cruise for check-out procedures.
10:00 AM: Enjoy a brunch while cruising back.
11:35 AM: Disembark at the quay side in the south of the bay.
12:10 PM: Bid farewell at Dinh Vu port, concluding the program.
2:00 PM: Return to your drop-off point in Hanoi, marking the end of the trip.
5:00 PM: Join a guided street food tour in the Old Quarter to experience the local daily life and taste authentic Vietnamese dishes like Nom, Pho, Bun Cha, and Ca Phe Trung (egg coffee). Seasonal Mixed Fruits is available as an alternative to Egg coffee.The tour has concluded! Please make your own way back to your hotel.
